2010 Working in Fitness survey launched
SkillsActive and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) have unveiled the seventh Working in Fitness survey, which is one of the largest studies of its kind in the UK.
The survey, which will be conducted online until 19 July, is designed to monitor job satisfaction, training and salary trends within the UK's health and fitness sector. Open to every industry professional - either full or part-time, or self-employed – the confidential study attracted nearly 1,500 responses in 2009 and offers an insight into how the sector rewards its workforce.
Results from last year's Working in Fitness survey revealed that male workers earn, on average, 16 per cent more than females, while fitness employers spend an average £484 on staff training. To take part in the survey, visit www.skillsactive.com/wif10
