The overhaul included the addition of two new steam rooms, a spa and refurbished changing rooms, as well as 16 new Life Fitness cardiovascular stations.
Nicki Kurran, director of leisure at Hanbury Manor, said: “Our members and guests expect a certain level of service and facility, so it’s extremely important to offer the very best-quality amenities.
“By continually investing in our facilities, and upgrading our gym equipment every three or four years, we ensure that we remain ahead of the competition and set the standard for hotel gym facilities.”
The health facility at Hanbury Manor – operated by Marriott – also features a Romanesque-style pool, dance studio, sauna, and eight therapy rooms offering more than 100 beauty treatments, in addition to an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus II Championship Golf Course.
