AMT from Precor gains design award
Precor’s Adaptive Motion Trainer (AMT) has been named one of the world’s best-designed products in the prestigious 'red dot' competition.
The competition annually convenes an international jury of design experts to examine and test products, assessing entries for innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility and clarity of function.
More than 3,000 entries from 51 countries were submitted for red dot consideration this year.
Commenting, Miles Rimell, Head of Marketing at Precor EMEA said: "Both in terms of performance and design, the AMT is one of the most significant products in Precor's 27-year history.
"We’ve seen great affirmation for the AMT in the marketplace, and it's great to earn recognition from a global leader such as red dot."
As one of the winners, Precor will attend an honorary gala in Essen, Germany, in June to receive the award. The AMT will also be one of the award winning products exhibited in the red dot design museum, similarly in Essen.
This is the third win for Precor’s AMT, it having previously earned 'Product of the Year' recognition at the 2007 NOVA7 awards and been voted best product innovation at Belgium’s Fit2PRO show.
