Fit to fly
A new fitness initiative being launched at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) has seen the installation there of Technogym's Easyline fast-training circuit.
JLA teamed up with Liverpool Council for the project, making Liverpool Britain's first local authority to install fitness equipment in its local airport.
The circuit will be available to all travellers and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It comprises eight stations and eight steps, with - ideal for people who don't have time to hang around - 30 minutes providing a comprehensive workout.
It will be placed so as not to interfere with the day-to-day running of the airport and also to provide travellers with a less chaotic area within which to work out.
Instructors will be on hand at all times to offer advice and guidance on how to use the circuit.
With over 2,000 employees across 14 branches, Technogym is present in over 100 countries. More than 65,000 wellness centres are equipped with Technogym and 35 million users train every day on Technogym equipment. Technogym was the official supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to PyeongChang 2018.
