Great Idea from Life Fitness

This year’s IDEA League Sports Event, which was sponsored by Life Fitness, was won by RWTH Aachen, Germany.
The annual inter-university competition celebrates the strategic alliance between Imperial College London - this year’s event host - and three other leading European science institutions.
The three day event took place on June 13-15 and featured sporting competitions in taekwondo, badminton, fencing and fitness (running, swimming, rowing and cycling), together with a programme of social events.
Over 130 students from four universities - Imperial College, London; TU Delft, the Netherlands; ETH Zürich, Switzerland and RWTH Aachen, Germany - took part in the sports events.
The majority of competitions took place at Ethos, Imperial College’s new sports centre, which opened in 2006, complete with a state-of-the-art Life Fitness gymnasium.
As one of the main sponsors of the event, the company provided each competitor with a Life Fitness gym bag and workout kit.
