High Octane contract
Octane Fitness UK has received its third and largest order from Ireland's West Wood fitness club chain for 30 of its Pro3500 machines.
West Wood comprises three clubs, all in Dublin - one is on the Northside on Clontarf Road and the others are on the Southside at Leopardstown and Sandymount.
Octane's Pro3500 series is a heavy duty, self-powered elliptical which operates using the company's exclusive DuraDrive drive system.
Other features include multigrip handlebars; HeartLogic Intelligence with digital contact heart rate sensors; X-Mode and GluteKicker programmes for extra intensive cross-training positions; 30 resistance levels; a range of preset resistance programmes; 19.5in stride length; 2in pedal spacing and oversized pedals; low step-up height for easy access and a self-powered generator brake.
Also provided is a convenient accessory tray and water bottle holder.
Commenting on the agreement, Alan Leach, Regional General Manager for West Wood Clubs Ireland said: "We had to add more Octane machines because they were so popular. They are easy to use for a beginner but can also give a very tough workout for those that want more from their workout."
Neil Campbell, General Manager of Octane Fitness UK added: "It's great to be working with West Wood Club. Their members are choosing the Octane when there are other elliptical machines in their gyms to choose from."
