Keiser strides out with the M5
Keiser’s new M5 Strider has made its debut into British health clubs with a trial installation at the Esporta Gloucestershire Health and Racquets Club.
With elliptical training predicted to become the UK’s next big fitness craze, having already taken the US by storm, the M5 Strider – originally launched at Leisure Industry Week last September – is said to be portable and easy to use.
It is also claimed to be ideal for use in both group exercise classes and on the gym floor due to what is described as its 'super smooth resistance'.
The machine is designed to activate a wide range of muscle groups giving users an intense workout in less time and with lower perceived exertion. The user meanwhile, is able to have complete control throughout the workout and can adjust both the pace and resistance to meet their personal exercise needs.
The M5 Strider is intended to improve and increase participant performance while offering a high level of muscle and joint protection. Other innovations include sweat resistance, a key consideration for any CV machine used in a group exercise environment.
More than 80% of the top professional sports teams in the world now train on Keiser machines, including every baseball team in the majors, the soccer champions of nine countries, several American football champions and countless Olympians. They’re joined by everyone from NASA to Navy Seals, medical experts and rehabilitation specialists, and major gyms like LA Fitness.
