LIW debut for new Power Plate kit
Leisure Industry Week later this year will see Power Plate® both showcasing its new pro5 AIRdaptive™ Acceleration Training machine and introducing the new proTRAC™ software system.
Designed specificially for commercial use, the pro5 AIRdaptive model adapts to an individual's body weight by using a patented technology which electronically increases the amount of air in the bellows below the plate and enables it to support up to 227kg.
proTRAC is a token-reading software device specifically developed for Power Plate equipment, which allows gym owners to track how, when and by whom their machines are being used.
An effective CRM tool, it will enable operators to monitor usage patterns and gather relevant data from their members so as to provide appropriate support, create bespoke training sessions and ultimately generate further income.
Both the pro5™ and pro5 AIRdaptive models can be fitted with proTRAC, which requires users to swipe a reader pad before stepping onto the machine.
Once activated, the device deducts one unit and a corresponding number of minutes from the user's 'account'. Tokens are only issued to members after they have successfully completed an induction class with a qualified trainer, allowing them to exercise without the assistance of an instructor.
