On the pulse
Pulse has put forward two new digital design concepts to help enhance gym-going experiences.
The company has unveiled its new 18.5” interactive Android user console, which can be installed into its Fusion Cardiovascular range. The concept allows users to experience digital TV and radio, full internet browsing with social media access, and a training programme with personalised workout options. Meanwhile, its new web-based cloud solution offers a personalised training experience for users.
Pulse has also unveiled its Trixter XdreamV2 bike, which offers a 23” touchscreen and HD graphics. In addition to the virtual reality mountain biking mode, the new model also offers real video rides. There’s also a classic mode so the bike can act as a standard exercise bike.
Featuring integrated wheels for improved mobility, the XdreamV2 offers a live multiplayer mode that allows members to race one another and a ghost-racing mode allowing users to compete against their best times.
As with all Trixter exercise bikes, the XdreamV2 features laterally moving handlebars – X-bars – which simulate the precise movement of an outdoor bike, offering a total body workout.
The product is capable of being updated with future software releases, ensuring longevity for operators.
