Physical health on the move
ES Physical Health has moved to bigger premises and features a gym which includes fitness kit from Keiser.
The new venue in East Dulwich opened recently and offers members a 7500sq ft facility including a Pilates studio, two class studios and a gym fitted with a mix of equipment including Keiser Air and M3 indoor cycles.
The ethos of the club is to put healthcare first via injury free exercise and a balanced approach to exercise.
To this end, physiotherapy, isokinetics, exercise therapy and rehabilitation are offered alongside sports massage, Pilates, yoga, diet clinics and podiatry.
The club provides members with experienced staff who are all trained as physiotherapists, offering everything from acute phase treatment through to preventative exercise therapy.
Since its move to larger premises, ESPH plans to increase membership numbers to 600 and further expand the facility by another 2000sq ft; work is due to start in April 2008.
Established in 1979, ESPH currently has one other facility - in Harley Street - with further venues expected both in and outside London in the future.
More than 80% of the top professional sports teams in the world now train on Keiser machines, including every baseball team in the majors, the soccer champions of nine countries, several American football champions and countless Olympians. They’re joined by everyone from NASA to Navy Seals, medical experts and rehabilitation specialists, and major gyms like LA Fitness.
