The Slazenger S1 sports drink has been the official sports drink at the 2009 All England Open Badminton Championships.

Held at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena at the beginning of March, the drink was consumed by players across the event.

Slazenger S1 is specifically formulated to aid both physical and mental performance, while claiming to help the body replace lost salts and fluids faster than isotonic sports drinks.

Available in 500ml bottles with a sports cap and available in two flavours – orange and mixed berry – the drinks are said to be absorbed by the body up to 40 per cent quicker than isotonic drinks, making them the ideal choice for sports players wishing to remain at the peak of their performance for as long as possible.
