Fitness company Pulse has gained stage two status from the Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) for a range of its cv and resistance kit.
The company now has a total of 15 pieces of equipment accredited to IFI stage two, which it says is more than any other UK fitness equipment supplier.
The newly accredited items from Pulse's Evolve and Freedom ranges include Shoulder Press, Chest Press, Pec Dec, Multiple Pulley, Crossover, Dual Multiple Pulley, Tricep Press, Seated Row, Adductor, Abductor, Leg Extension, Leg Curl, Leg Press, Perform Recumbent Cycle and Ascent Low Impact Treadmill.
Amongst the inclusive features on the equipment are swing-away seats for easy wheelchair access, large raised iconography on weight stacks for visually impaired users, and clear, easy to understand instructions using both text and illustrations.
