Star Trac expands its product range
Fitness equipment company Star Trac® has expanded and improved its product range extensively this year.
New are several advanced cardio products featuring entertainment options such as touch screens and 'IPOD' compatibility, a new line of Spinner® bikes and an intuitive strength line.
The new E-TRx treadmill sees enhancements in the shape of hourglass shaped handrails and a larger frame, while new features include the Hot Bar™, which places frequently used controls within easy reach, a dual-adjustable personal fan, an increased elevations range and a wider running surface.
New embedded touch screen products are compatible with the entire E Series line of cardio products, with the 15in model displaying a variety of program choices and four unique user-selectable workout views.
In addition, all E Series cardio products now include a 30-pin connector, allowing them to be 'Made for iPod.' Users can charge their player, listen to music and watch videos, as well as controlling their iPod content through the embedded touch screen.
The company's Spinner Pro®, Spinner Elite®, Spinner NXT® and the new Spinner Velo® - a light commercial bike - all feature technical enhancements including newly designed handlebars and seat posts.
The Spinner Pro now includes a water bottle holder within the handlebar area, and the dual-sided SPD pedal set.
Also new is Star Trac's LockNLoad™ weight selection system, which eliminates the need for weight selection pins and lanyards.
Users can now select weights by flicking a switch as universally colour-coded switches engage and disengage the weight via an internal pin, which the company says provides a safer, more durable and maintenance-free operation.
