Star Trac kit for Marriott and GL-14
Star Trac's Max Rack has been selected as part of a £500,000 refurbishment programme at the Marriott Beardsall Priory Hotel's weights gym.
Max Rack allows the bar on a traditional Smith machine to move forward/backward and up/down simultaneously. Commenting on the installation, the hotel chain says it offers a safe environment in which its members can train without the need for one-to-one support.
The gym is part of a leisure offer at the Derbyshire hotel which includes a pool, sauna & steam, studio, tennis courts and a health and beauty spa.
Further south, Star Trac has fitted out the luxury GL-14 health club in Fairfield, Bedfordshire.
GL-14 is a family run national company, owned by The Livesly Group, who invested approximately £2.5m into the project.
A full range of Star Trac fitness kit is offered, as well as a day spa, sauna, steam room and pool. It also houses three studios, including a Star Trac Spinning® studio with Spinner® NXTs.
All cv machines are from Star Trac’s new E Series, with integrated personal viewing screens and iPod connectivity.
The strength range installed includes the Star Trac Instinct and Impact ranges, also incorporating Humansport and Max Rack, with a comprehensive range of free weights.
