Technogym and LA Fitness in 3-year deal
Technogym has signed a major deal for a new three-year contract with LA Fitness to cover all equipment.
The deal includes a Technogym Service Contract, which will cover both Technogym and other brand equipment across all 88 clubs.
LA Fitness first began working with Technogym in 1997, during which time Technogym kit was installed in 15 clubs.
Between 2000-2, LA Fitness opened an additional 45 sites, which were also equipped with Technogym equipment.
In 2006, Technogym won a one-year service contract on Technogym equipment, which effectively enabled LA Fitness to trial the service and to gauge how well Technogym could support the clubs.
The partnership just announced follows an invitation to the company earlier this year to provide LA Fitness with a quote to support the entire estate - including the newly acquired 21 Dragons sites - and to quote for new equipment to be rolled out across the sites over the next three years.
With over 2,000 employees across 14 branches, Technogym is present in over 100 countries. More than 65,000 wellness centres are equipped with Technogym and 35 million users train every day on Technogym equipment. Technogym was the official supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to PyeongChang 2018.
