The Pulse solution for South Staffs. and North Yorks.
Fitness equipment company Pulse has recently completed the installation of new kit at the redeveloped Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre in South Staffordshire.
It's the third development that Pulse has carried out for South Staffordshire District Council, with Womborne and Codsall Leisure Centres both being completed during 2007.
A fourth, at Penkridge Leisure Centre, is due for completion in March 2009 after a significant redevelopment.
Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre is a dual use site, sharing its facilities with Cheslyn Hay Sports College, with the funding and management of the facility shared between the college and the council. The recent redevelopments at the site mean that the Leisure Centre is now accessible for people with disabilities and will be open to the local community all day.
There are currently nearly 500 members of the fitness suite at the site, all of whom will have access to the new equipment. This includes the most up to date Evolve strength range and the Freedom self-powered cardiovascular range.
Elsewhere, Pulse has recently completed the refurbishment of Sandylands Sports Centre in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The £35,000 project included the provision of machines from the wirefree Freedom cv range and the Evolve strength range.
