Wicksteed's Xerscape range
Keeping teenagers and young adults active can sometimes prove to be a bit of a challenge. Wicksteed Playscapes claim to have the answer with the Xerscape range.
Designed and developed in collaboration with Professor Rachel Davey and her team from Staffordshire University’s Centre for Sport and Exercise (CSER), these fitness units are said to be very popular with all ages.
Primarily for outdoor installation, anyone over the age of 12 is said to be to enjoy the full range – generally free of charge, whilst taking in the fresh air.
All the individual units have clear guidance on how to undertake the exercise accurately and safely and offer different levels of complexity appealing to all abilities across the board.
The products are designed to look just like standard equipment seen in gyms and leisure centres up and down the country, so that people working out on the Xerscape range feel like they’re in an outdoor gym.
Furthermore, many of the pieces can be used by two people at once, enhancing their social attraction.
